Lions Quest Program

Since 30 years Lions have been implementing LIONS QUEST program in over 100 countries across the world. This program embraces the idea of comprehensive youth development to help children grow in a positive direction, free from dangers of drugs and violence and able to make positive decisions

Through a series of Social and Emotional Learning SEL curriculum lessons, the program promotes positive student behavior.

PROGRAM COVERS 3 AGE GROUPS

Skills for Growing (SFG) – for Elementary school children
Skills for Adolescence (SFA) for Middle school children
Skills for Action (SFC) – for High school children

HOW WE IMPLEMENT – STEP 1 TTWs

Teachers from various schools are identified who undergo Teachers Training Workshop (TTW) for 2 days.

The Coaches who undertake the training sessions are from within our Lions fraternity who have undergone several man-days of training before they are certified as qualified Coaches. They carryout these training sessions at no cost except incidental costs.

Step 2 – The Teachers in turn teach the children over 40 sessions in one school year, each session of 40 minutes.

They also undertake 2 sessions for Parents.

LANGUAGE OF TEACHING

The program is available in English, Hindi and Marathi

APPROVED BY HARWARD UNIVERSITY

The program is researched and approved by Harvard University
