In today's rapidly evolving world, where family dynamics are continually changing, it is essential to equip our children with life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) to ensure they lead happy, stress-free lives. Proper grooming at a young age can prevent the need for significant unlearning later in life. The Lions Quest program, while it may not be able to change the future itself, will undoubtedly prepare our children to face it with confidence and resilience.
Integrating these vital skills alongside academic subjects in schools can bridge the gap in our children's education. I urge all decision-makers to embrace this research-based, time-tested SEL program in schools and help us bring about this much-needed change.
Our Lions district 3231A3, under the effective leadership of our district chairperson Lion Nitin Purkar, has committed to this cause. He and his team has laid a strong foundation in year 23-24.
